Ross has over 25 years’ experience in the Spanish translation sector. In 1989 he joined the in-house translation team at the auditing and consulting firm Coopers & Lybrand in Madrid and in 1993 he took over as head of the translation department at C&L. Following the merger between C&L and Price Waterhouse in 1999 he was appointed manager in charge of translation services at PwC Spain, remaining in the post until 2013. He now works as a freelance legal and financial translator and language industry consultant. He holds a degree in English from the University of Edinburgh, a Masters in translation from Madrid’s Complutense University and post-graduate diplomas from the UNED, the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the World Intellectual Property Organisation and ESIC Business School. Ross is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Linguists and a sworn legal translator authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ingrid holds a Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting by the University of Bradford and a degree in translation with a focus on business and legal documents by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
She has worked full-time as a financial and legal translator for 14 years, focusing mainly on business-related fields such as auditing, tax, financial reporting standards, accountancy, law, and marketing. She has an eye for detail and provides top quality translation and proof-reading services for law and consultancy firms, insurance companies and international organizations.
She is a Sworn Translator-Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and a professional member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Proof-readers and Interpreters (Asetrad).
