Ross has over 30 years’ experience in the Spanish translation sector and was translation manager for PwC Spain from 1993 to 2013.
He holds a degree in English from the University of Edinburgh, a Masters in translation from Madrid’s Complutense University and post-graduate diplomas from the UNED, the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the World Intellectual Property Organisation and ESIC Business School.
Ross is a CIOL Chartered Linguist and a sworn legal translator authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has published extensively on the subjects of machine translation, translation management and World English, and has lectured at conferences organised, among others, by ASLIB, FIT and ELIA. He is also co-author of the Harrap’s English-Spanish Business Dictionary.
Graham is from Merseyside, UK, and studied Spanish and French at King’s College University in London. He has been living in Spain, in the Madrid area, since 1990. He trained and worked as an in-house translator at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 1995 to 2000 and is an experienced user of SDL-Trados translation tools.
Since going freelance, Graham has collaborated with prestigious Spanish and multinational clients, including some of the world’s leading audit firms, law firms and consultancies. He has built on the experience gained during his time at PwC, continuously gaining insight into the fields of accountancy, international taxation, contract law and court proceedings, banking, regulation and insurance so as to assure top-notch translations.
Ingrid holds a Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting from the University of Bradford and a degree in translation with a focus on business and legal documents from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
She has worked full-time as a financial and legal translator for 20 years, focusing mainly on business-related fields such as auditing, tax, financial reporting standards, accountancy, law, and marketing. She is currently an external supplier of Spanish translations services for the European Central Bank and other EU institutions, and has also worked with the OECD.
She is a Sworn Translator-Interpreter of English appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and a professional member of the Spanish Association of Translators, Proof-readers and Interpreters (Asetrad).
